Beautiful house that fit our broad array of folks in a family of 7. Pool was fantastic for our 8 year old and our teens. Plenty of hangout eating space for the rest of us. We all slept great and had a fantastic vacation. Distance to beach was a little far, but we truly preferred our downtime at the house, and had a blast!
We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Marlin Retreat. The home is in a great location and convenient to the area beaches, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything nearby. Rich & Amanda were responsive and quickly replaced the cooler when we let them know one wasn't available, which we appreciated. The only disappointment was that we weren't able to use the grill or fire pit because there was no propane. We had purchased steaks to grill and supplies for s'mores, so we were looking forward to using those amenities. Overall, we had a nice stay and loved the location. With a few small improvements, this would be an even better place to stay.
This place was Simply Amazing, we Absolutely loved everything about it. We Celebrated our 30 th Anniversary here and it was Fabulous, they really have thought of everything the bedding, the towels even the beach towels were luxurious. The game room was so much fun, and put put on the green outside at night was so relaxing everything was lit up so Beautifully. The pool was perfect it was like warm bath water and BIG. This pool is so Big we loved it, it is actually Bigger in person than in the pictures. The canal was so enjoyable watching the fish jumping lay in the evening while relaxing in the pool, also the cranes would visit every day they were just Breathtaking watching them fish in the canal was AWESOME. The Beds are so COMFY, top notch, so soft. The Emerson point preserve is only 5 minutes from the house it was so Beautiful and really you are only 30 minutes from Anna Maria Island and 50 minutes from siesta key island. We will definitely be back we started planning a return trip
